Dr. Anish Kadakia

Dr. Kadakia has a strong commitment to education and has written over 30 book chapters and lectured both nationally and internationally. He is an Associate Professor at Northwestern University, located in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kadakia has also had the honor of being a guest professor and performing surgery in Pune, India; Chongqing, China, and in Doha, Qatar. He is the current Editor in Chief of the Journal of Orthopedic Surgery and Research. He is actively involved in research involving both biomechanical and clinically oriented projects. Notably, he has authored the foot and ankle section in Miller's Review of Orthopedics and is the section editor for Mercer's textbook of Orthopedic Surgery and for Delee and Drez's Sports Medicine. He has been active in the American Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Society (AOFAS) since 2007 and is actively involved with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery . He was nominated to the executive council of the Asia-Pacific Society for Foot and Ankle Surgery (APSFAS) in 2011 and recently nominated to the American Orthopedic Association (AOA) in 2015. He is the fellowship director at Northwestern University for their Foot and Ankle fellowship.
