Dr. Low Tze Choong

Dr. Choong (TC) graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1988 and practiced in Singapore until returning to Malaysia in 1996 and worked in the Malaysian Ministry of Health Hospitals. In 1999, Dr. Choong was appointed as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. He completed an AO Foot and Ankle Fellowship under the direction of Sigvard Hansen in 2001 and served as a Foot and Ankle Fellow in Wirral Hospital NHS Trust 2004-05. As the founding president of the Malaysian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Society (MOFAS), Dr. Choong is involved in organizing courses, meetings and other teaching activities to advance the practice of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Malaysia. At present, he is part of a group practice providing sub-speciality Orthopaedic services. Since 2007, Dr. Choong has been an Honorary Consultant in the Orthopaedic Department of University Malaya Medical Center where he is involved in training postgraduate doctors in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
